Acceptable Use Policy

Effective date:

Last updated date:
April 16, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs use of the services, “Haus Offerings” (if applicable under your Agreement), products, reports, or other offerings (each of the foregoing referred to hereinafter individually, and together collectively, as the “Services”) provided by Haus Analytics, Inc. (“Haus”). As used herein, the terms “you” and “your” refer to the entity described in the agreement between such entity and Haus, under which such entity, including as applicable its individual employees, consultants, and contractors, are authorized to access and use any Services (the “Agreement”). Capitalized terms used but not defined in this AUP have the meaning set forth in the Agreement. By accessing or using the Services subject to the Agreement, you agree to comply with this AUP. In the event of any actual or reasonably suspected violations of this AUP by you or any individual, employee, consultant, or contractor accessing or using the Services made available to you under the Agreement, you acknowledge and agree that you must promptly notify Haus.

1. Authorized Use

You may access and use the Services only:

  • through the interfaces and APIs that Haus provides or authorizes;
  • in accordance with the Agreement and any documentation, applicable policies, Haus Marketing Resources (where applicable under your Agreement), and any other materials provided to you by Haus in relation to your use of the Services or incorporated into the Agreement (“Haus Documentation”); and
  • for lawful, authorized business purposes.

2. Prohibited Actions

You shall not (and shall not authorize, encourage, or cooperate with any third party to):

  1. Bypass interfaces or misuse access – Access or use any Services by means other than those provided or authorized by Haus.
  2. Violate law or rights – Use any Services in violation of applicable law or in a way that infringes Haus’ or any third party’s intellectual-property, proprietary, contractual, or property rights.
  3. Copy or modify software – Reproduce, adapt, translate, port, or create derivative works of any portion of the Services except as expressly permitted by the Agreement or law.
  4. Resell or share access – Sublicense, distribute, sell, rent, lease, lend, or otherwise make any portion of the Services available to a third party, including through hosting, service-bureau, or SaaS-for-SaaS models.
  5. Reverse engineer – Decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive or study the source code, algorithms, or internal structure of the Services.
  6. Tamper with technical controls – Remove, disable, or circumvent any technical protection used to monitor, control, or secure the Services or Haus’s intellectual property.
  7. Probe or breach security – Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Services, or bypass or attempt to circumvent authentication or other security measures.
  8. Circumvent usage limits – Evade or interfere with license, capacity, user, timing, or use restrictions, or any Haus audit or tracking mechanism.
  9. Remove notices – Remove or obscure any copyright, trademark, confidentiality, or other proprietary notice on any Services or Haus Documentation.
  10. Unbundle components – Use component parts of the Services separately unless expressly permitted in writing.
  11. Interfere or disrupt – Use any means (including third-party tools or automation) that disables, burdens, or disrupts the Services, system, or network.
  12. Introduce malicious code – Knowingly transmit viruses, worms, malware, or other harmful code.
  13. Use for competitive purposes – Use the Services, Haus Documentation, or Haus’ data, intellectual property, proprietary information or confidential information, to create, train, test, benchmark, or improve a competing product or service, or to gain a competitive advantage.
  14. Automate or scrape data – Pre-fetch, cache, index, extract, or store data derived from the Services, or use automated tools such as crawlers, bots, spiders, or scrapers, except via authorized APIs.
  15. API terms – Access or use any Haus API except under separate API Terms provided when accessing the API.

3. Content Standards

You are responsible for all data and content transmitted through the Services and must not upload or share material that is illegal, infringing, deceptive, harassing, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate.

4. Security & Enforcement

Haus may monitor use for compliance and security purposes. If Haus reasonably believes your use violates this AUP or poses a risk to the Services or others, Haus may suspend or terminate access.

5. Reporting Violations

Report suspected violations to security@hausanalytics.com. Haus reviews all reports promptly.

6. Changes

Haus may update this AUP from time to time. The current version will be posted at https://www.haus.io/legal/acceptable-use-policy. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of any updates.
